Elizaveta Porodina’s Adventurous Vision
Photographer Elizaveta Porodina’s fine art approach showcases the A/W season’s focus on movement and exploration. “This project is about exploring the idea of a challenge within the human condition – the physical body, the mental fragments of a person, and their placements in a limited space”, says Porodina. From there, mind and body connect in moments of dance, introspection, and even frenetic energy: living authentically and fully in the moment.
Contemporary Contrasts with Materials on the Move
Both the ready-to-wear range and The W Active collection reflect a bold, active vision. With sleek leggings bridging the two worlds, form-fitting and flowing designs alternate to create striking yet functional silhouettes. Soft knits and tops drape gently over the body, while 80s and 90s-inspired accents add a playful twist to a decidedly contemporary collection. The volumes, the softness of the garments that follow the movement of the body, or the precise definition of the bodies given by the most enveloping fabrics produce a neat elegance and effortless seduction.
